Some hosting companies set a very low limit on the maximum file size for uploads.  This can mean that you see an error message when trying to install All in One SEO Pack Pro.

The only way to resolve this problem is to contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the PHP max upload filesize directive in the php.ini file.  The file size for All in One SEO Pack Pro is around 3 MB.  We recommend increasing the PHP max upload filesize directive to 5 MB.

The alternative is to manually install All in One SEO Pack Pro using FTP.  These are the standard instructions provided by WordPress for manually installing a plugin:

  1. Download All in One SEO Pack Pro to your computer and unzip the download file
  2. FTP to your server and navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.  Contact your hosting company if you need help with FTP access to your server
  3. Upload the unzipped folder called all-in-one-seo-pack-pro to your server
  4. Log into your site and go to Plugins and activate All in One SEO Pack Pro
