Hi,

I don’t know if the sitemap.xml is supposed to be listed in my Google Webmaster Blocked URL’s area. This is how it’s listed;

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Disallow: /wp-includes/

Sitemap: https://www.nontypicalbuck.com/sitemap.xml

I notice that is doesn’t say disallow for the sitemap, but the Sitemap entry was not there a month or so ago, can someone please let me know if this should or should not be in there. If it’s not supposed to be there, how do I remove this?

Google states that there are 5 blocked url’s. If you could down includeing the User-agent.* down to the Sitemap: this = 5

Thank you,
Kelly

I think it’s related to the sitemap being generated with the HTTPS and not the HTTP that is causing this. Is there a way to have the sitemap created without the https and just http?

Thank you,
Kelly

Hi, could you tell me this, I have recently signed up with MaxCDN and during the configuring of it noticed that I should also dis-allow the sitemap from being indexed, and it had the default settings that should be placed in there.

My question is this, should I put the line in there like Google has that the All In One SEO added?

the line below;

sitemap: https://www.nontypicalbuck.com/sitemap.xml

Thank you,

Kelly

Hi Steve,

They do say to put the same items that I have listed in my sitemap, ie;

User-agent: *
Disallow: ??

however I wasn’t sure about the item that was added to my sitemap from the SEP Pro install;

sitemap: https://www.nontypicalbuck.com/sitemap.xml

What exactly does this line mean in my sitemap? To block it?

Thanks,
Kelly
