I have used all in one (non pro) version on many many sites with no issues – on my client site http://www.darlingtonsemployme…..tors.co.uk we installed a new theme and purchased the pro version to migrate the metatags easily – set up the pro version, using all the usual settings form every other site, yet google is not seeing any meta descriptions – cannot fathom why this is happening – can anyone help or suggest a solution.

No plugin can force Google to use a specific description, Google uses descriptions based on the terms searched and if it believes it can create a more relevant description than the one entered into the plugin then that is what will show in search results. If you check your clients search results in google (site:darlingtonsemploymentsolicitors.co.uk) you’ll see that some of your descriptions are showing and others are being generated by Google. There isn’t anything you can do about this, it’s Google’s decision to display what it wants.
You can read more about meta descriptions and why Google treats them the way that it does in our documentation here http://semperplugins.com/docum…..criptions/.
