Using the HTML Pro version

1. When emails are auto sent for a New Wp Post, are they sent to  both  Registered or Public subscribers.

2. When sending out a manual email, can I default the list to be sent to as Public subscribers. It seems to default on Registered subscribers

3. For years of using the free version, we recreate the subscribe database every hour adding subscribers selected from our sales program. They always go to the Public subscribers list. How is the SQL DB coded (a field is selected?) that qualifies a user for Public or Registered.

Thanks

Brian

Thanks

2. Yes you can with a little code. You need to create a function that returns ‘public’ and then add that function to the ‘s2_subscriber_dropdown_default’ hook with add_filter(). If that doesn’t make much sense I can help further.  Yes I know what you mean – I will have to find what “‘s2_subscriber_dropdown_default’” hook proper name is so it’s called correctly. Where can I find the API manual.

3. 3. Public and Registered Subscriber data are stored separately. Public data goes into the ‘subscribe2’ table – wp_subscribe2 by default. Registered date goes into the user and usermeta tables.

I guess these are new tables. Are they stored in WP database I assume.

Thanks

Brian
