I have just purchased Subscribe2html. I want to be able to accomplish two things: send only an excerpt from the blog post rather than the entire post; and I want to be able to provide some simple styling (fonts) to the email that is sent. I am not finding any way to do this.

The development site is http://www.fpfthoughts.com.

Thank you,

Joe Parsons

Thanks for responding, Matthew. This may be a silly question, but exactly where do I need to put that code?

I am a little bit lost (I have always installed plugins from their sites).

I wrapped the code you gave me this way:

<?php

add_filter(‘s2_public_subscriber_format’, ‘prefer_html_excerpt’);

function prefer_html_excerpt() {
return ‘html_excerpt_body’;
}

?>

I saved it as “mailing.php”, and put it in a directory named “mailing” in my /wp-content/plugins directory.

I am not clear about the plugin header.

Thanks for your help.

This suggestion breaks the entire site.  Any ideas what it could be?  Can you double check this code and let me know if its correct?
