I’m currently trying out AIOSEOP on my localhost and have a question about the API and the Social Meta Module. I am having trouble finding any API examples or documentation for manipulating AIOSEOP’s opengraph social meta features.
My site uses a custom field to display a gallery. Each image in the gallery is displayed with its own unique URL. Example of a unique url in a gallery: webdomain.com/gallery/gallery-title/image/17/image-title-here/
I’m successfully using the following code in my functions.php file to customize/filter AIOSEOP’s meta tags for posts/pages with an image url query variable: http://pastebin.com/4wrY4iW2
The code linked above works great for replacing the page/post’s canonical url, title, and description with the canonical url, title, and description for the specific image being viewed. I really need to get the og:image url to be the image url of the image being viewed (for example: the image/attachment ID is 17 in the url example above).
Is there a way to use a filter in my functions.php file to completely replace/override AIOSEOP’s og:image social meta settings on pages/posts when an image url query variable is used?
Thanks in advance!
