Hello,

The site of my client is not yet open to the public. That is why I can not give you the website address.

Can I remove the license key after entering the “All in One SEO Pack Pro” administration?

Best regards

Hi Samuel,

The License Key is used by our system to recognize whether a site should have access to any available updates to All in One SEO Pack Pro.  You can remove the License Key and the plugin will still work, but you will no longer have access to updates and there will be a banner notification at the top of the screen telling you to enter a valid License Key.

Thanks,

Nina

Hello Nina,

What happens if I leave the key? If my client or another person recovers? Could he use?

Best regards

Hi Samuel,

Yes, the download link and license key that you received when you purchased the Pro version of All in One SEO Pack can be used an unlimited number of times on an unlimited number of sites.  If a client of yours sees the License Key they could copy it and use it in another copy of All in One SEO Pack Pro.

Thanks,

Nina

Nina,

So if I understand, I remove the key when I am no longer administrator of the website.

Best regards

Hi Samuel,

It is up to you whether or not to remove the key, the plugin itself will still work.  The changes will be that the copy of the plugin on that site will no longer have access to any updates and there will be a banner notifying whomever is on the backend of the site that a License Key needs to be entered.

Thanks,

Nina

A solution would be to build in an extra verification like the mailaddress / password of the  site you registered the plugin on.
JoomSEF uses this to prevent your license key being used by others.
