I can’t seem to get Menu Label to work. My navigation still shows the title from the WordPress Page rather than what’s listed under Menu Label. I’m running WP 3.5.1 and All In One SEO v 2.0.6

I’d really like to work with the Menu Label to help shorten some of my navigation titles.

My website is http://www.davincicentre.com/wp (front end password is crew2013). I’m using a child theme of twenty eleven. I’m also using Gecka Submenu to automatically populate the sub-pages and I’m using Shailan Dropdown Menu for the dropdowns.

I really didn’t understand any of that. I’m not a programmer.

I tried using the Custom Menu widget to create the main menu. You can see it on the website now in the top left corner, covering up part of the logo. Under Our Society & History there’s a page called Our Society. I changed the menu label on that to be Society and it’s still not updated on either the Custom Menu or with the Shailan Dropdown Menu.

How do I get the Menu Label working because as far as I can tell it’s not working. It’s a featured I’d really like to implement on websites.

What is a menu system that it will work with? I have no problem switching from the Dropdown Menu to something else if it will mean that the Menu Labels will work.
