Yes – I received notification of an update to the plugin but there was a warning that came with it via my wordpress site so I haven’t updated it. Instead of showing the name of the plugin as you would expect with an update, it just says PLUGIN_NAME. Says it is version 2.1.2.

cheers

Kym

The message is

There is a new version of All in One SEO Pack Pro available. View version 2.1.2 details or update now.
Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘update_message’ was given in [directory]/wp_plugin.php] line 406

I have updated other plugins in this time, no problems and they did not have the error message shown above.

kind regards

Kym

+1

This update also errors out when clicking “View version 2.1.2 details”. Why should we update when we are not able to see the changelog?

With these two errors I definitely think twice upgrading, as this is indicative of more errors after update.

The error message is:

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

NOTE: Please activate mail notification for thread updates!

PleasePlease enable notification! Or better yet – use Disqus.

You’re not the only forum I post to, so I loose lot of progress as I never know when you post a reply.

Both errors are still occurring, so I guess this will also happen with the next plugin update.

As for now, I have both errors on live and test site. The apache error.log is is not updated with anything regarding the GUI error (when clicking “View version 2.1.2 details”) when using WP-Debug on.

Access.log seems normal:

 “GET /wordpress/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=aioseop&section=changelog& HTTP/1.1” 500 4304
