When trying to reduce the number of indexed paginated category / archive pages what’s the best way to achieve this with AIOSEO ?

I’m guessing you could add a WP function like this;

if (is_archive() ) {

if ( is_paged() ) {

echo ‘<meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow” />’;

Hi Nic,

There is nothing specific in All in One SEO Pack that addresses categories and pagination.  There are options in the Noindex Settings of the plugin that allow the user to choose whether or not they want the categories and archives to be indexed, however when you check these boxes they ask that all the category/archive pages not be indexed.  It is also important to keep in mind that these Noindex settings are just a request, not a command.  It is still possible for the search engines to reach your category/archive pages through links on your site.

The code you posted above should work, but it doesn’t really have to do with All in One SEO Pack and isn’t something we could provide support on for you.
