I did a site: example query in google because of a meta description debate I was having with a friend.
I noticed that it pulled up 3 different links to the same post. I know that it’s normal to have many links to the same content but I didn’t know Google would index all of them. Am I supposed to do something different here? Or is this normal?
I have the canonical box checked in general settings. http://mediafreshpress.com
Thanks,
Chris

Steve,
Thanks for the reply. I actually have it set to where categories is the only thing that does get indexed.
I have my tags, author and archives set to noindex. This seems like the unpopular setting but I’ve seen bad things happen with too many tags. So, I figured letting my categories do all the work was best. Do you think that’s a bad idea?
