Hello,
based on this discussion on Wordpress support I’m asking here the same question since I don’t understand how to do it.
I have registered one taxonomy (assigned to 2 custom post types) and I see title format only for this taxonomy and not in combination with post types. Can I include custom post type name in taxonomy title format based on which custom post type I am on?
And can I use parent term of selected term in taxonomy title format?
Regards

Yes, I already did this. I know I can set title format for custom taxonomy. I will be more clear (if I can).
In AIOSEO I already can set taxonomy title format. Only once. Because there is one taxonomy. But I have 2 custom post types.
I need to set up same taxonomy title format twice. 1st for one post type and 2nd for another post type.
Example:
I have custom post type Holidays.
I have another custom post type Trips.
I have custom taxonomy Destination which is assigned to both post types.
When viewing taxonomy through post type Holidays I need this format: Destination (tax) – Holidays (cpt) – sitename
And when viewing taxonomy through post type Trips I need this format: Destination (tax) – Trips (cpt) – sitename
And once again this question: Can I use parent term of selected term in taxonomy title format? Example:
Destination (selected term) – Destination (parent of selected term) – Holidays (cpt) – sitename

So you want format “tax term – tax term parent – cpt – sitename” when viewing the taxonomy archive?
That’s correct.

What is the method of showing only one post type on a taxonomy archive page? Custom rewrite rule? Custom query?
At the moment I’m relying on Custom post type permalinks plugin.

After activation there are settings in Settings – Permalinks. At the bottom there are options “Use custom permalink of custom taxonomy archive” and “Add post_type query for custom taxonomy archive.”
