My WordPress Directory site: http://planningweddings.directory using a Premuim Press theme could be found on page one of Google AU using Australia and a verbatim search when I used a sitemap created with ‘sitemap creator’ and framework SEO. I bought and installed All-in-one pro last week after liking the free versions facilities. I deleted the free plugin after installing Pro version.I do not have https for the site and do not allow remote logins.

I used a basically standard installation of All-in-one and followed recommendations in the ? help when I was unsure of settings. I ticked Canonical URLs and set protocol for canonical URLs to auto. I can’t remember doing anything else, was this a mistake? After listing the sitemap in webmaster tools my site is gone from Google results. Also some of the listings that showed up when searching for ‘Planning Weddings’ no longer show in searches.

There are no significant errors showing in webmaster tools but 14 soft (404) URL errors I am having trouble tracking down.

Most of the visits since it slipped from view have come from its sister site: http://planweddings.com.au. which has a prominent link button. I only have one other backlink (from Premium Press). Can anyone help me with this before I go back to what gave me search results in the first place? Google have only been collecting statistics since April 3.

Thanks in Advance for any help.

Thank you for your information Steve.

Google do not report any problems with the site. Nor any of the 36 other sites I own. Why it has disappeared  from both Bing and Google organic search at the time it was scanned by their robots – which coincided with loading the all-in-one sitemap really does have me asking – why?

After purchasing the plugin in the first place, I do not feel inclined to pay even more money to discover why my site slipped in ratings. I know why. Its because of the changes all-in-one made to it. Its easier for me to blame the added complexity of All-in-one and reload a backup. My primary site (planweddings) is today #1 in an organic Google search because of my own skill at SEO. That’s something I can trust and alter if it has a negative effect. All I can do with all-in-one is ask for help. When its offered at more than the plugin cost, It gets me asking myself why I bought it in the first place.
