I have everything in my settings set to replace my post title and description with All-in-One SEO Plugin’s title and description, but I’m not seeing what I insert into the plugin fields appear in Google’s SERPs. Not sure what to do.

http://www.lostlettermen.com is the site

Using version 2.0.3.1

Hi Dan,

I’m unable to tell by looking at your code whether All in One SEO Pack is outputting any data.  It seems as though you have a caching or minification plugin running that is stripping the comment line which would normally tell us where the data that All in One SEO Pack is outputting starts.  Will you please disable that plugin so that we can help you troubleshoot this?

I did notice that your title format is not in the traditional format for All in One SEO Pack; i.e., Page Title | Site Title.  Did you change the format for your titles in the Title Settings box of All in One SEO Pack?  If not, you’ll need to enable Force Rewrites, this setting can be found in the Performance Module.  It’s possible that your theme is outputting your titles, you’ll need to give All in One SEO Pack permission to rewrite those titles.

Thanks,

Nina

Nina,

I am having the same issue.  None of the pages or posts where I have modified the All-In-One SEO information fields are replacing the ‘normal’ meta data.

You can see examples here: http://careerconfidential.com/…..interview/

and here: http://careerconfidential.com/…..interview/

Let me know if you need admin credentials to the WP site and I can provide them via email.

Thanks for the support.

Carl

I am having this same issue. I tried placing a title on my homepage page to replace the main Wordpress site title that is located in the settings area. It will not replace it. Even if I leave the main site title field empty, it still will not pick up the title that I wrote for the homepage. My homepage is set from a page within wordpress, using a template for the home page.

ok I cannot read what was posted… Dont tell me I have to pay to read this reply? Ive never had an issue with All in One SEO until now. Why offer support that costs money if the plugin is free?? May just switch to Yoast SEO. this is rediculous.

Steve,

My issue I guess is that I’m trying to get the sinppet that google lists, to be the same as what we have defined within the All In One SEO plugin for the page.

This page and it’s Google listing do NOT match what we have defined for the post:http://careerconfidential.com/…..interview/

This is the Google Listing
http://careerconfidential.com/…..apture.JPGthankyouemail-google-listingCapture.JPGImage Enlarger

This is the snippet from the Post as defined in the All In One SEO
http://careerconfidential.com/…..apture.JPG
thankyouemail-allinoneSEO-sniptetCapture.JPGImage Enlarger

We are trying to increase our CTR by stricitly defining a benefit (the FREE Download) rather than what Google is currently listing.

Can you tell me where I’m going wrong and how I can fix it?  We are having this issue on all of our posts.  Google listing doesn’t match the defined snippet.

Steve, I don’t understand your answer to my comments/question at all.  First, you plugin provides a ‘preview’ of what Google is supposed to show, so if that isn’t what Google is going to show, how do I tweak my posts and pages, and isn’t it sort of false advertizing to provide the preview?

Second, I provided the preview of the post in question, so how on earth can I be letting All-In-One dynamically generate to the meta data, where I have already defined the metadata for that particular post. I have handcrafted the metadata for the post in question, why would you think otherwise?

This is the from source code of that page –
