Hi,

I am getting entries in sitemap.xml for posts with a custom post type despite me having them unchecked in the post types section of the sitemap settings.

I could be wrong, but the way the custom post types have been registered might have something to do with it. (not my code, it’s part of the theme I am using)

register_post_type( ‘mwb_why’,
  array(
    ‘labels’ => array(
      ‘name’ => __( ‘Why us’ ),
      ‘singular_name’ => __( ‘Why us’ )
    ),
    ‘public’=>true,
    ‘show_ui’=>true,
    ‘publicly_queryable’=>false,
    ‘rewrite’ => array(‘slug’=>’why-us’),
    ‘supports’ => array( ‘thumbnail’, ‘page-attributes’, ‘title’, ‘editor’ )
  )
);

Unchecking Media/Attachment got rid of the extra URLs.

Which leaves me with the question if I want these images in my sitemap.
