I have tried to use the html number and name for ampersand in my Home title and the code comes up in my title bar instead of the symbol. This is not a problem with my other page titles where I use the code.

Thanks yet again – I put it in the functions.php and it works now. I really appreciate the timely support. I think upgrading has been well worth it!

Hello,

I just encountered this problem myself, luckily found this thread nice and easy. I couldn’t edit within the plugin editor in wp admin due to permissions so had to add it to my functions.php, I assume it doesn’t really matter where ti goes in there? I just stuck it at the top after the opening <?php

cheers
