Greetings

First time on the forum after purchasing the pro version.

I set in the option to auto generate descriptions and keywords, however I note when a campaign I have running using wprobot it does nothing when wprobot posts an article.

I bought the pro version precisely for it to do this on these posts.

Thoughts please Smile

Greetings

Thank you for the reply, I have followed the advice given on that site and I will see what happens.

However I posted one of my own posts and this plug-in did not auto populate those fields either. So how does one get it to do that. Maybe you could inform me what options I need to ensure are ticked on the options page.

Many thanks

nzcid,

While I haven’t used WP Robot, my understanding is that it is able to create custom fields; here is a post outlining how to use it to populate AIOSEOP’s custom fields: http://www.autoblogtheme.info/…..robot.html

Greetings

The author of that blog says that these options no longer work with WPRobot. Frown

nzcid,

Perhaps that’s the issue then; sorry for the delay, apparently your debug report sent under a different email, but I see it now. AIOSEOP does appear to be working on your site; I see description and keywords showing up on your home page, and, for example, a description showing up on the Talk to Us page. I’m not familiar with your theme, but it does appear to be presenting metadata properly on the home page and in pages on your site.

Thank u Peter, then can you help me understand here why on each page we have these SEO fields. If it is doing all this automatically why do I need to see the SEO fields in each post. Can I just turn those off and take it that AIOSEO is doing its job?

nzcid,

The metabox is there because people commonly customize the title and description and add keywords to their posts and pages through All in One SEO Pack. It is possible to remove it through the WordPress Plugin API, but there currently is not a setting for this out of the box. See this thread for more information.

Maybe a feature for future releases then Smile. I am no coder and dont like playing around with wordpress codes so I guess I put up with it showing on posts. And as you say I might want to alter the title or keywords etc Smile
