First off thank you for a great plugin here… purchased immediately.

We run an art website not publicly visible. We have users that post art files and then we categorize those posts in-house afterwards.
I am a bit confused by the Settings | Compulsory Categories and Excluded Categories sections.

We created 1 new category that we have checked in Compulsory section called “NWS”
Note sure why i checked it here but We only want weekly digests to send if a post includes this category as well as others.
(Multiple categories)

However there are sections in Excluded Category’s that we did check off as NEVER SEND.

Question: If we have all excluded categories checked except this NWS category and the post contains NWS and others that are excluded what would happen.

Can you help maybe with we a quick proper setup?

Thank you

Thank you for your reply…

to clearly repeat my question:
1. Compulsory Categories = Anything Checked here will send in Digests..
2. Excluded Categories = Anything Checked here will NOT send in Digests..

I guess with hundreds of categories that are sub categories as well it gets quite confusing.

It would benefit us to simply have an option that allows us to send digests to any post that falls in a specific category. Meaning if its multi categorized and it belongs to this (1) category “DIGEST” perhaps it will send no matter what.

Kinda like a tag.

Thank you

Matthew… That last idea of yours seems to be the best solution and thank you for your time and support.

I left Compulsory blank nothing check.
I did leave Excluded categories I know i never wanted sent checked.
and I see that option on bottom of each post to Disable if needed.

So by default I wanted all sent out and will utilize that checkbox on items I only want to not send.
PERFECT SOLUTION.

Thank you.
