Hello,

{COUNT} is displaying 97 items when I only have 1, 2 or 3 in the digest email.  Could this be as simple of a solution as resetting template to default settings?  Would that clear it up?  It gives me the correct count in Preview Test Emails but not in the automated digest emails.

Thanks!

Hi Matthew,

No Sticky Posts but we recently had numerous categories sending digest emails then cut it down to just one category by using Excluded Category options.  Also unchecked “Allow registered users to subscribe to excluded categories?”  So it was counting correctly before we excluded but now even if I test with one post the digest emails still display count of 97.  Again, however the Preview Test Email count is accurate with 1.
Thanks for the quick response and for looking into this!

Currently using V 9.4.
That would be great if you could send the fix.  Definitely confident editing code if you can provide file name and line(s) along with fix.
Thanks!

Hi Matthew,

Ok, the code was updated successfully and the COUNT is now correct.  However, I know only see that 9 Subscribers out of 12 are receiving the emails (also Email log showing only 9).  I tested a few times and still only getting 9 out of 12 emails out to the 12 subscribers.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Thanks Matthew.  I checked and double checked the subscribers and preferences, all checked “Yes”.  All emails are correct as well and it sent successfully the other day just not now after making a last few adjustments.  I should probably also mention that I also changed the following setting: Restrict the number of recipients per email to (0 for unlimited): 1 Edit   I changed from “0” to “1” as I was getting nothing to send with “0” but after changing to “1” digests started sending properly.  Wasn’t sure if this had anything to do with the 3 Subscribers not sent.
Thanks for all your fast replies and support thus far.  Any further thoughts are appreciated.

Also, the issue of some subscribers not being emailed showed a very strange progression.  The first attempt after changing core.php exclusion line was it only sent to 5 of 12, then a second test 8, then 8 from there moving forward in future tests.  Still not sending to all subscribers. I tried sending logged in form 2 different admin accounts as well as resetting permalinks and logging in and out just to be sure something was not hung up.
Thanks.

Hi Matthew,

All digest emails send out and are received except for one email address.  Have you ever seen this before?  I double checked the address and spam filters as well as recreated the profile on WP.  The Email Log shows all emails sending excepet this same email address.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Yes, the profile is subscribed to receive the digest emails.  Checked, and there are no duplicates of that email or user in the db. We had this issue about a week ago and we removed the profile then recreate it.  Same issue persists, this one particular profile does not receive the emails.  Thank you for any further insight you may have on this issue.
