Sorry for the long description – I’m trying to desribe our problem as fulfilling as possible.

We’re running a WordPress Multi Site, with 9 different sites connected, where 7 of these use Subscribe2html for different digest newsletters.
5 days ago one of the sites (www.elteknik-online.dk) only send the digest to first 1/8 of the subsribers and the next day another of the sites (www.elektronik-online.dk) didn’t send anything at all. I have spoken with the company hosting both our webservers and the one hosting our mailserver, which we send through, and it has been confirmed that the mailserver didn’t receive anything from either of the 2 sites to mail out, after the send was interrupted the first time.
During the same period of time 4 of the other sites did send out digest e-mails with success, even though they run on the exact same install.
We weren’t running the latest version of S2html, but our WordPress install has been running ver. 4.0 for some weeks now without problems.
To ensure everything is compatible before seeking help, I have upgraded to the latest version of S2html (ver. 10.5). I did this yesterday and today one of the failing digest newsletters is now sending mails on schedule as intended (the other has no new posts yet), but a new issue has appeared…

The first site (www.elteknik-online.dk) is set to “Daily digest” and had 5 new posts added within the last 24 hours (posted within the same hour), but only the very newest post was included in the newsletter.
Another site (www.food-drink.dk) is set to weekly digest and missed about 90% of the newest post, but included the older posts from last week (still within the 7-day timeline).

I’m not sure how to troubleshoot any longer, since most of the sites are working correct on the same install.
Each site is using it’s own domain name, but the newsletters are send out from different mail adressess on a common domain name (approved by the mail host).

Best, Thomas

The problem seems to be solved.

The WP_Cron has been running correctly the whole time, but seemed to fail anyway. After disabling the digest send by selecting “Per Post” instead and tested a successfull mail to my test list of subscribers, I switched back to the digest schedules (daily / weekly) for the 2 sites and then it worked again without any changes.
