Here is a link tot he site: http://fountainavenuekitchen.com/

Our HTML excerpt did not work.. We tried following the post here: http://semperplugins.com/suppo…..t-working/ and created a custom plugin, but then our emails stopped being sent completely.

I then removed that that custom plugin and the emails started again, but the emails returned to showing just the full html post and not the excerpt.  Not sure how to get the HTML excerpt working.

Below is my code:

<?php
/*
Plugin Name: Subscribe2 HTML Excerpt
Description: This will allow subscribe2 to send HTML excerpts
*/
function my_public_format() {
return ‘html_excerpt_body’;
}
add_filter(‘s2_public_subscriber_format’, ‘my_public_format’);
?>

hi Matthew, I’m sure you are busy, but can you help us finish solving this issue?

Once you create the plug-in to allow public users to receive excerpt html, where do you recommend placing that file, in the standard plug-ins folder, or within the subscribe2html folder? I’m not exactly clear on that. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Makes sense. (I assume I then activate the plug-in to start it working.)

Ive tried this, activated the plugin, and it doesnt change the public to get excerpt only, they still get the full post.  Any ideas?
