Hi there, 

I’ve set up the Subscribe2HTML plugin to scan one category that gets posts, and then send a digest out at some interval.

 

But despite having posts within the category regularly, nothing gets sent. I know it’s not an email blocking issue as this was working properly with the Subscribe2 plugin before (which is now removed) and it’s an internal server that’s not sending outside.  The only message I see after trying to resend the digest is :

The Digest Notification email contained no post information. No email was sent

 

Any idea where to start looking? Compulsory categories are set to the one I wish to have a digest of, and excluded categories are all -except- for the one in compulsory. (I tried this a few different ways to no avail)

Excluded categories take precedence over compulsory ones so your current settings sound like they are blocking all posts from the email. You need to remove the category exclusions and it should then work.

 

Ya, did get further with it over the weekend.  One further question, any way to flush what subscribe2 has seen in a specific category and have it reread? Just trying to do some testing in a quicker fashion as opposed to waiting for a new post from someone else.  

 

Also while I’m at it, can the Digest send excerpts? Currently just sending the article title. Thanks, appreciated!
